Frequently asked questions

What is The Simple Good?

The Simple Good is a non-profit organization whose mission is to connect the meaning of ‘good’ from around the world to empower youth to become positive activists in the future through art and discussion.

Through our SEL and Mindfulness-based Arts Residency Program, public events and art projects, we transcend the belief that ‘good’ means the same no matter where you go in the world – and that is what connects us as human beings.

Are you a 501(c)3 Organization?

Yes, we are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit Organization.

What are your volunteer opportunities?

We partner with Corporate Partners that value innovation, creativity, art and who are interested in uplifting youth. Companies can volunteer by sponsoring a program which includes supporting a classroom for a semester, hosting and attending our Youth Art Showcases. By hosting our students, it not only provides an opportunity for kids to experience something outside of their community but it also allows them to be exposed to career opportunities for their future.

Artists make important contributions to our programming. We are always looking for artists to volunteer as guest speakers in the classroom or at our fundraising events by donating time or artwork.

Capacity-building services such as PR, Web Development, Strategy and more are always needed. If you are interested in learning more about our current needs, complete our Volunteer Form.

How do you work with artists?

We engage and highlight artists at our public events and invite them into the classroom to mentor and educate our students about the impact of art and how it can become a career.

Do you only work in schools?

No, our program partners include community centers and nonprofits. We are open to partnering anywhere there is an opportunity to uplift youth through visual art creation!

How can I bring you to my school/company/organization?

Start by connecting with us via our Contact Form we will reach out to learn more about your programmatic needs, timing and budget. If it’s a fit we are happy to begin a new partnership!

I am homeschooling my student, how can I access your program?
