Along with 12 of my business honors buddies and our dean, we woke up early to see the sunrise on copa cabana beach in Rio before a busy day of visiting companies and learning about corporate social responsibility in Brazil. It was a great way to refresh during an intense trip.

The Chinese countryside in Yanghshao is really best seen by bamboo raft. It was a really peculiar experience to be floating down this sleepy river in a bamboo raft with bamboo growing all around me.

The sun sets on the first day of the new year coming to a close in Salvador, Brazil. For New Years eve, Brazilians stay up all night to watch the first sunrise for the new year and then clap to thank God for creating such a beautiful thing.
